Helen Routledge at HR Summit 2012: Scientists and anthropologists have long known that playing games is a critical part of learning (it’s what we all did as children isn’t it?). Now technology has made it possible to bring games to the workplace. In this mind-stretching session Helen Routledge, a leading instructional designer of serious games, will show how “Gamification” is making it possible to train and develop our workforces in cost-effective and time-efficient ways that would have been impossible just a few years ago. This is an opportunity to get a first look at the way we will learn tomorrow – in the workplace, in the classroom and in our own homes. Participants at this session will take away an in-depth understanding of what serious games can offer to individuals and organizations, whatever they do and wherever they are located. If you want to know about how technology will change the way you train and develop your workforces, don’t miss this session.”
