After graduating from Istanbul University, Faculty of Education (English Language Teaching) in 1994, Banu Cengiz completed an MBA program in Bilgi University. Between 1997 and 2000, she worked as a Consultant in Antal International responsible for executive search and selection and afterwards as a Human Resources Generalist in Egebank in recruitment, performance and talent management fields. She joined Telsim Telecommunications in 2000 as the Recruitment Manager and later she became the Training Manager. After Telsim Telecommunications was incorporated into Vodafone Group in 2006; between 2006 and 2010 she worked as the Learning and Development Manager, Talent Development and Performance Management Senior Manager and Human Resources Senior Manager in charge of Commercial Functions respectively. Cengiz, who worked in the fields of recruitment, transformation of learning into behavioral change, development of performance and potential, change management and cultural transformation, employee engagement, internal customer satisfaction and organizational effectiveness during her career, is working in Finansbank as the Performance Management, Organizational Development and Internal Communications Vice President as of 2010. Cengiz who is a member of Corporate Volunteer Association and Common Purpose; has NLP, Timeline Therapy and Hypnosis Practitioner and Master Practitioner degrees.
