Özkent completed Middle East Technical University Management Faculty in 1991. He gained his Executive MBA degree from Koç University in 1996. He has completed Harvard Business School Strategic Retail Management Certification Program in 1998. Özkent worked for Arthur Andersen Audit (Ýstanbul), Arthur Andersen Business Consulting (Ýstanbul ve Chicago), Türkmen Holding (Ýstanbul) and Fed Training (Ýstanbul) in various managerial positions between 1991-2008. During his career life Özkent has acquired different perspectives as a trainer, as a consultant and as a business man.

In 2008, Bora Özkent decided to become an entrepreneur and established Özkent&Taysever. With his diverse background Özkent's areas of expertise include Innovation (Most Recognized Trainer in Turkey), Strategy, Creativity, Change Management and Customer Experience Management.
