Timuray began her career in Procter&Gamble Company and was appointed to the Executive Committee of P&G Turkey. In 1999, Timuray joined Groupe Danone where she worked as the General Manager of Danone Turkey between 2002-2008. Timuray was honoured as the “Professional of the Year” and “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum.

Timuray is currently the Vice-Chairperson of YASED Board (International InvestorsAssociation Board), Vice-Chairperson of Turkish British Business Council of DEIK (Foreign Economic Relations), Board member of Young Enterpreneurs Council of TOBB (The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey), member of TUSIAD
(Turkish Industrialists’and Businessmen’s Assosiation) and is in the Advisory Council of Endeavor Turkey, KAGIDER (Women Enterpreneurs Association) and Contemporary Istanbul. She has served as the Vice-Chairperson of SETBIR (Dairy, Beef, Food Producers Association) during 2003-2008.

Born in İstanbul in 1969, she is a graduate of Bogazici University Business Administration. Timuray is married and a mother of one child.
