Zuhal Çivi graduated from Boğaziçi University, Psychology Department in 1994 and started her career at F.M.V. Ayazağa Işık Highschool as a school psychologist. After working at research and HR projects of different consultancy firms, she took the position of HR representative in a local firm operating in retail sector. In 2001, she joined Shell as the HR Coordinator of Business Operations. During this duty, she led the project of "Sales Competencies" covering various practices including organizational structuring, career, pricing and rewarding phases. After this position, Zuhal Çivi became the head of Shell Academy as the Manager of Training and Sales Development. During this duty, she designed and implemented the field training and development programs under the terms of business goals of retail sales division. In 2004, Çivi joined GE, Aircraft Motors company and worked there as HR Manager and GE Turkey Organizational HR Manager. During her presence at GE, she received Six Sixma Green Belt certificate and ran various projects including simplifying HR processes and outsource usage. Apart from these responsibilities, she took an active role at "GE Women Network" which aims to support the development of women executives. As the Human Resources Director of Nestlé Turkey since 2007, Zuhal Çivi mainly focuses on the structuring the vision and goals of HR in terms of business, change management, repositioning the HR function as the "strategic business partner" and providing simply business and process models.
